Putting these boards together is tricky, trying to mirror what really goes on in an NFL team’s scouting room and draft prep while making it digestible to readers. Scheme matters. There are greater variations between positions (interior defensive linemen are not created equal). It’s something I’ve wrestled with this offseason. If you’re curious about the process, Jon and I discussed it on our final pre-draft podcast here. But to keep the work somewhat in line with the industry norm, this is a typical horizontal board: showing the prospects by tier and position, allowing you to cross-reference the strength of the class at different positions.
