If there’s one unifying theory of Doug Pederson-ism, it’s the bunch formation. Last year, Pederson’s Jaguars led the league in bunch formations, with 351 passing yards on 60 dropbacks. The 3x1 bunch is the classic bunch look, and the best formation to produce the eye candy that can distract a defense. 

The Jaguars use pass and run concepts from several such looks: tight bunches from under center, from the gun, an inline bunch for inside zone concepts, and even reverse sweeps.
