What's the problem? Scheme? Receivers? Quarterback? The Offensive Line? A combination of them all?!?!
I’ve resisted writing about the Packers offense this season. I covered the team so much over the course of the offseason and preseason that this risked becoming a pseudo-cheesehead newsletter. But I’ve received more requests to write about the issues with the Packs’ offense this week than I have on any other topic since I re-launched The Read Optional a year ago (I, fortunately, have really cool who are like ‘4,000 on the odd-mirror concept on a random Thursday? Yes!).
On Tuesday, I sat down with Jon Ledyard for a crossover pod. We dug deep into the issues with Green Bay’s offense. But, it being a conversation, I didn’t fit all my thoughts in. And I recognize that readers like to, well, read rather than dig through a two-hour podcast.
